The Private Chef team are dedicated and driven to delivering high standards of food and service to our clients. This includes an appreciation of quality produce, working closely with our local suppliers by utilising fresh and organic foods and incorporating these into our menus.
Our aim is to deliver a relaxed, enjoyable and professional experience while demonstrating our passion for fine dining through our menus and service.
The Private Chef menus are designed to give you the freedom and opportunity of creating your own dining experiences with multiple menu options available and no restriction on courses or menu options.
Kurt Sonneman Chef/Owner
Kurt is a chef local to the Central Coast of NSW. As an apprentice, he worked through Newcastle spending the majority of his time working at various fine dining restaurants such as Bacchus and Restaurant Deux. After winning the Brett Graham Scholarship in 2011 and working in London, at the famous Ledbury restaurant and the Harwood Arms he returned to the Central Coast where he led his team to winning the Chefs Table Award Gold Place 2 years in a row. Today Kurt balances his career between working in Central Coast restaurants, teaching Commercial Cookery and Hospitality at TAFE and now providing his food and skills through Private Chef Catering.
